POP Geometry: The Works of Todd Gray

April 24, 2019 – July 3, 2019

Modern day, contemporary pop artist, Todd Gray is doing what the great pop artists of the past have done – communicate large ideas in the simplest of means.   Much like Warhol’s soup cans, Lichtenstein’s cartoons, Indiana’s numbers he combines what’s new, current, relevant and recognizable today –  cartoons, Superheros, hashtags, social media, emojis and other things that our modern day culture embraces into his work.

He states his canvas is simple geometric cubes painted with bold colors and clean lines attempting to create his own unique and recognizable visual language.  The installation of Gray’s work will be a combination of his wall sculptures, towers, totems & pop pedestals. Throughout the show several special events will be offered surrounding ideas of contemporary pop culture, comics and other related topics.
