1979.27.1.1 - Cover is a print that has been attached to the portfolio. Print has a dark grey background. The artists uses only four colors, red, blue, black, and white. Covering most of the print is an abstracted figure. Print is signed in black at the top "60/100 Dieter Roth 79". In the top right corner is the word "hell" in black. Center left of the figure is "2 x 5" in red with the 2 backwards. Center right of the figure is "Dogs" in blue with the S separate from the word. "Blau" is written in blue and "rot" in red to the right of dogs. "10 Prints by Dieter Roth" is in a blue circle near the bottom left and "Assistant Bjorn Roth" in a red circle to the right. "Edition Hansjorg Mayer; Stuttgart - London" is at the bottom highlighted in red and "Dieter Roth" highlighted in blue below.
1979.27.1.2 - Graphite drawing. There is a front view of a muscled cat with its arms and legs stretched out. Each of the front arms are grabbing the muzzle of a dog. The cats tails curls around the number 64. There are two dogs on each side of the cat both facing it. The dogs are each holding the pole of a flag in one hand and the banner of the flag in the other. The banners say "Dogs' Dots!". The left side is a mirrored reflection of the right. The dogs are standing on a human head peaking out of a box. The boxes are signed "Dieter Roth 79".
1979.27.1.3 - Black and white image/print of an abstracted human form/sculpture. The human body is emerging from an organic, round shape toward the viewer. The head is down with the right elbow on the ground and hand resting on the shoulder/head. The left arm is not proportionate, much larger, with the forearm on the ground and the hand clenched in a fist. Signed LRC in graphite "60/100 Dieter Roth". Also in black pen is the word "Rot" and other unreadable text, some even scribbled out along the right side. There is a circle with an x in it at the top left corner.
1979.27.1.4 - Golden rod yellow background that fades slightly at the bottom to a green. "Dieter Roth" is written across the top in red and blue. At the bottom: "2 x 5 Dogs (in red) / Edition of 100 prints, numbered and signed (in black) / + 1 Original (in red) / Drawing (in black)". Covering most of the print is an blue abstracted shape/sketch. There is a large red and yellow circle close to the center. All of this is resting on a box like shape at the bottom. Signed in graphite at the top "60/100 Dieter Roth".
1979.27.1.5 - Large abstracted purple sculpture covers most of the print. The bottom half suggest the body of a dog lying. Background is red and green and looks as though it were lighted with the red being the brightest. Signed TRC "60/100 Dieter Roth". Written in red ink along the middle right "hintergrund wegnehmen (von d platte)" and "schwan blau" in black. (Translates to background remove (d plate) and swan blue).
1979.27.1.6 - Grey background. Abstracted shape drawn in black, with blue suggestions of ears and arms and red used for shading. There is also the occasional use of white for highlighting. The words hell, rot, and blau are written backwards in the TLC. Signed in black crayon TLC "60/100 Dieter Roth 79".
1979.27.1.7 - Grey background. There is an abstracted sketch in the center of two dogs embracing and facing one another. Between them are various circular filled shapes. Everything is resting on a box. White is used as a highlight. "Hell, rot, and blau" are again written along the right side. Dogs is vaguely written between the two dogs' heads. Signed in graphite BRC" 60/100 Dieter Roth 79."
1979.27.1.8 - Bright red background that fades to a darker red, almost like a theater curtain. There is an abstracted sculpture in the center of human forms compacted between possibly the trunk of a tree. The sculpture is colored in blues. "Bleu, rot, and schwarz" written in BLC. Signed along the top right side in graphite "60/100 Dieter Roth 79."
1979.27.1.9 - Grey background. Black and red abstracted shapes under a blue umbrella. There is a red face along the left side and an arm and hand along the right. "Blau" is written right center and "rot" LRC. Signed in graphite "60/100 Dieter Roth 76" at TLC. Also signed "Dieter Roth 79" LRC.
1979.27.1.10 - Pink and purple background. There is an orange and black abstracted sculpture in the center. At the top of the sculpture there is a naked human shape on hands and knees with a dog head. There is a rectangular shape protruding from the top left of the shape. The base is textured as though someone took a tool to clay to make lines. "Rot" and "Blau" are written in black just below the sculpture with rot scribbled out. Signed LRC in graphite "60/100 Dieter Roth 79."
1979.27.1.11 - Grey background. There are red humps around framing the center sketch. There is a blue triangle at the bottom coming from the left side. Center drawing is mostly black with some blue highlights at the to left as well as a red dot. "hell" "rot" (twice) and "blau" are written in the TRC. Signed in black crayon BRC "Dieter Roth 79".
1979.27.1.12 - Grey background. Abstracted mixture of animal and human forms. The top of an animals head with ears is at the top. There is a leg with a black high heel on and shaded with white hash marks. "Rot" and "blau" are written by the right ear of the animal. Signed top center in black crayon "60/100 Dieter Roth 79."
1979.27.1.13 - Red, orange, and green background with a purple edge on the right. Black organic shape in the center and bottom. Areas of blue, pink, and orange are peaking through. Unknown text along the bottom in a red ink. Signed in black crayon at top center "60/100 Dieter Roth 79."
1979.27.1.14 - Blue, yellow, and grey background with hints of vertical bars. In the center is a red/orange and black sculpture. It hints at being a 3-D form of the previous drawing (79.13.18.12). A leg with a high heel is present at the center and there are suggestions of ear at the top. Text along the BRC with "rot" the most visible. Signed bottom center in graphite "60/100 Dieter Roth 79."
