Help Us Launch the Children’s Art Center!
Phase One: The Visual Arts Area
The Anderson Museum of Art is excited to begin the journey of creating a Children’s Art Center (CAC) that fosters creativity, emotional growth, and community connection. Our first step is building the Visual Arts Area, and we need your support to make it happen!
Why It Matters
Madison County children face significant mental health challenges, and art has proven to be a powerful tool for healing, confidence, and learning. The Visual Arts Area will provide a safe, interactive space where children can explore art, discover themselves, and learn in new, exciting ways.
What We’re Creating
The Visual Arts Area will feature three interactive art installations:
- Color Exploration: Mixing colors to learn their emotional impact.
- Line Play: Exploring lines to create movement and texture.
- Composition Magic: Arranging elements to understand space and design.
Our educators will design specialized curriculum and lessons for classrooms and skills professionals to help children with social-emotional learning, self-expression, and life skills.
Be Part of the Art!
Supporters donating $250 or more will be recognized on our “Art is an AMOAzing Adventure” mural, a stunning 3-D hot air balloon scene:
- $250 – Cloud Sponsor: Your name on a custom cloud.
- $500 – Small Balloon: Your name on a personalized hot air balloon.
- $1,000 – Custom Balloon: A unique design by our staff artist.
Customizable for families or businesses.
This mural will inspire all who visit and symbolize the community’s dedication to the arts.
